President Wayne Brush called the meeting to order and requested all cell phones be silenced.

Opening Prayer: Tim Duke

Pledge of Allegiance:  Carol Fitzgerald with the standard flag. (Congratulations on your continued improvement!)

Introduction of Guests/New Members: None

Next, President Brush asked if there were any corrections or changes to the minutes as printed in the newsletter from our meeting in June, 2021. There were none and the minutes were accepted as printed.

Secretary’s Report: Carol Duke asked that updated information for the directory be furnished as soon as possible. This includes new phone, address, rig type, emergency contacts. Current photographs of each member would be appreciated.

Those present for the meeting were: Johnny & Brenda Bean, Lucille Bean, Wayne & Lou Brush, Jay & Gloria Delmar, Tim & Carol Duke, Norm & Carol Fitzgerald, Rick & Jan Kin, VAughn & Janie Linders, Scott & Darla Lyles, Bob & Shiryl Nelson, and Nola Schrum. Also present were Norwood & Corinda King with Frontier Sam.

Motion to accept the Treasurer’s Report was made by Tim Duke and seconded by Carol Fitzgerald. Motion carried.

Wagon Master Report: Tim Duke advised there were nine (j9) rigs present. Our next camp in October will be at Bedrock RV Park in Grand Saline, Texas.

Sunshine Report: Brenda Bean advised that Bob Price, a former member, collapsed last Saturday. He was hospitalized and is stable. He is 99 years old.

Historian’s Report: Janie Linders contributed that our chapter celebrated its 42nd Anniversary this week.

Chaplain’s Report: Tim Duke advised that in his absence, Jay Delmar will be presenting the devotion. Jay requested that we bring our hymnals to the 9:00 a.m. meeting.

Birthdays and Anniversaries: Vice President Lyles noted the birthdays of Vaughn Linders, Jo Ellen Blair, and Corinda King. Anniversaries being celebrated were Rick and Jan King of 53 years as well
as Jay & Gloria Delmar for 39 years. Congratulations to all.

President’s Report: Wayne advised that other commitments would prevent their attendance at the October camp. Therefore, Vice President Scott Lyles will be serving as president next month. Of note, our election of new officers will be in October. They will be installed at the November Camp. Then,
 he new president will make new appointments.

Host Report: Norwood King, President of Frontier Sam, advised that the meal would be served at 6:00 p.m. consisting of Brisket, green beans, etc. All we needed to bring was our appetites.

Committee Reports: President Brush asked for the Nominating Committee Chair to report. Janie Linders reported that the slate of new officer who had agreed to serve were:

Unfinished Business: None

New Business: Rick King reminded the group that the CPR class would begin at 1:00 p.m. Lou Brush advised that Chapter dues were payable now or at the October Camp in the amount of $20.00 per rig. As she will not be present, Carol Duke will accept dues payments at the October camp.

President Brush asked if there was any other business to discuss. Tim Duke made a motion to adjourn that was seconded by Norm Fitzgerald. The meeting was adjourned.
